Becoming a Confident Nail Technician Professional
McDougle Technical Institute offers a Nail Specialty program. Get training for the top-requested nail services, using OPI nail products. Included as part of your tuition, you’ll receive a uniform and the books needed to complete your courses.
After you learn the theory component, let your creativity flourish as you practice your new-found skills with hands-on training in the student salon and spa. When you finish the program you’ll be a skilled, work-ready graduate!

Nail Art and Design
The Nail Specialty program prepares you for licensure. Once completed, you’ll be prepared to pass a school exam to receive a Florida specialty registration (license).
Our Nail Specialty program is offered in both full-time and part-time schedules, so you can choose which one work for you.
Transfer hours are accepted on a case by case basis.
*12 Week program length when completed in normal time.

The idea of funding your education can be daunting, but you’re not in it alone. Our Financial Aid team is here to work with you to figure out the best funding options available to you. MTI is nationally accredited by NACCAS, meaning you can apply for federal financial aid (FAFSA)* and need-based funding in the form of Federal Pell Grants. We’re also approved for Veterans Training, and for the MyCAA Scholarship program (Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts).
MTI offers scholarships for students who do community service and for excellent attendance.
