MCDOUGLE TECHNICAL INSTITUTE JUNIOR COLLEGE KICKS OFF INNAGURAL GAME WITH A WIN
Junior College football program launched this season
(Pompano Beach, FL) McDougle Technical Institute’s Junior College played and won their first ever college football game on September 5th in Georgia. The MTI Junior College Bison traveled to Middle Georgia State University where they won 33-15.
The MTI Junior College football program is led by Head Coach Norm Richards. MTI Junior College first home game will take place on October 9th vs. Atlantis University at Blanche Ely High School Field.
“I am extremely excited for our program and our team. Our players were excited to play their first game and make history for the school. They were anxious to get the win and the first game under their belt. They are looking forward to the rest of the season and our next opponent. We want to thank Middle Georgia State for the hospitality they gave us when we were on their campus. We had great fan support with over 100 fans that came to support MTI in Georgia,” said MTI Junior College Head Coach Norm Richards. MTI plays this Saturday in Kansas.
NFL Legend and South Florida native Stockar McDougle and his wife Octavia McDougle added the Junior College to their program offerings at MTI in 2021. “We are so excited and proud of our team and coaches for their first win for our Junior College football program,” said Octavia McDougle, Founder of MTI. MTI’s Junior College offers students a two- year associates degree program.
