600 hr Program Enrollment Fees and Requirements
Licensed barbers, cosmetologists, skin and nail technicians, or massage therapists are trained in basic teaching skills, using education judgments with proper work ethics along with desirable attitudes to relay information to students.
McDougle Technical Institute offers the proper blend of theoretical instruction and classroom teaching practice. The student instructor develops skills in teaching the subjects necessary for the students goal toward licensure by following the school’s lesson plans and testing.
Duration: 30 weeks/full time students (20hrs per week) Part time students (min 12hrs per week)
School Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM; 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM; 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Classes start every Monday
Transfer hours accepted on a case by case basis (Transcript Evaluation Fee $100 must be paid prior to enrollment)

Students may enroll in all classes with a high school diploma, GED or by passing a Wonderlic Basic Skills Test. High School Students may enroll with permission, in writing, from the secondary school in which they are enrolled. At the time of enrollment in the Program, be prepared to submit the following items:
Submit identification and/or proof of age documents (Driver’s License, Passport, Student ID, Birth Certificate)
Social Security Card (Students may still enroll without a SS# but a SS# is required for licensure)
Submit High School Diploma, GED or Schedule ATB test ($25 Testing Fee must be paid prior to enrollment)
